This is a 40 hour course covering physical characteristics of asbestos, health effects, employee PPE, work practices, personal hygiene, medical and air monitoring, regulatory requirements, respiratory protection programs, insurance and liability effects, recordkeeping, supervisory techniques and contract specifications. You must also receive at least 14 hours of hands-on within the 40 hour course. Drivers: This training is required by 40 CFR 763 subpart E, APP C. ***The student must complete an 8hr refresher yearly.
