COURSE 2011-04-12
Project engineers and service technicians working with I/NET HVAC systems should attend this program. This program presents all software tools for I/NET primary process controllers that are connected to the RS-485 controller LAN. Students will learn how to bring the controllers online, configure the IO hardware and program the internal point structure. They will learn how to apply the programming tools used for creating the software objects required to meet a specific sequence of control. Examples include two position control, floating control, PID control, mathematical calculations, time based control, event initiated sequences and alarm generation. Students will learn how to establish controller-to-controller data flow. Students will also learn troubleshooting techniques relating to controller communications and application performance. Following this program, students should attend the 2014 I/NET SLAN Engineering and Service for HVAC to complete the skill set required to engineer and service complete I/NET HVAC systems.
