| En Route Training Voice Communication Tool (ETVCT) - This is a 24 hour familiarization briefing. This is equipment used in the Air Traffic training lab for ERAM. Technical Operation specialists complete the briefing will be given an overview on how the tool emulates Voice Switching and Control System (VSCS) client hardware and software. The tool is intended to provide trainees with realistic voice communication services and functionality. The tool has subsets of client positions can be adapted and grouped into training sectors to support training requirements. Each training sector in the tool is comprised of a Radar position (RPOS), a Data position (DPOS), and two Ghost Pilot Workstation (GPWS) positions. | |||
