| Basic terminal radar training is now split into two courses. Course 50034 retains the Terminal Basic Radar Training title, and is a pass/pass course that utilizes academics, STARS simulation training, and Skill Checks. Targeted simulation training is utilized for remediation. This course is targeted to bargaining unit employees who meet the prerequisites for terminal radar training. Course 50060001 is titled ""Terminal Radar Initial Qualification Training"" and utilizes academics, academic tests, STARS simulation training and STARS simulation Performance Assessments. Course 50060001 is targeted to new hire employees. Successful completion is required prior to assignment to a TRACON facility and beginning field training. Either course may have a follow on TSEW course for student assigned to a level 9 or above radar facility. | |||
