| This course teaches basic weather theory. It contains all the weather related information contained in the flight service initial qualification training program, Course 50240. It is designed to prepare the student to take the National Weather Service pilot weather briefer's certification, weather satellite interpretation, and weather radar certification examinations. This course will prepare the student to enter a structured facility-conducted training program that will enable them to certify as a full-performance-level journeyman at an automated flight service station. | |||
