| This course is designed for new hire Flight Service employees who have completed the Air Traffic Basics course and are being assigned to flight service stations in Alaska. The course consists of classroom and laboratory instruction in Flight Service responsibilities and procedures as well as the analysis and interpretation of weather products. During the course, the weather analysis, weather satellite, and weather radar certifications exams are administered. Instruction provided will prepare the developmental to progress to subsequent stages of Flight Service training. Course combines 55255001, Initial Flight Service-Alaska, and Course 55254001, Initial Weather Analysis, Radar, and Satellite. | |||
