| ORM in Action is a 30 minute briefing that provides an introduction to the Operational Risk Management (ORM) process to help to improve communication and coordination between Technical Operations (TO) and Air Traffic Control (ATC). Introduction to ORM is the only prerequisite for this course. The briefing is designed for novice learners who will be able to complete simple parts of the tasks discussed in the briefing. This briefing is a self-paced asynchronous web-based training (WBT) with moderate interaction that is accessed via eLMS. This briefing discusses how to apply the ORM Principles to routine maintenance, responses to maintenance requests during final coordination calls, Operational Risk Management Plans (ORMP), parts of an ORMP, and Manager, Supervisors, and Controllerin-Charge (CIC) responsibilities. | |||
