| This 3-day workshop focuses on building and refining managerial coaching skills. Day 1 lays the foundation by discussing social style differences. Participants use their 360 pre-work to explore their own style, preferences, and implications for building and maintaining relationships with others. Day 2 builds on participant's self awareness and focuses on interpersonal communication skills essential to effective coaching and performance management. Participants participate in several role plays and group exercises to build and refresh their communication, advocacy and negotiation skills. Day 3 focuses on leadership. The skills of effective story telling and influencing are discussed. Participants examine their own beliefs and values as they relate to leadership by presenting their own personal leadership credo. Presentations are videotaped for participant learning, and the session concludes with participants sharing their plans and commitments for training application back in the workplace. | |||
