| This 1-1 1/2 day hands on, experiential program will provide PMO participants with what they need to know in order to ensure that the documents they make public meet Section 508 compliance standards. The software applications covered will be MS Office programs (Word, Powerpoint, and Excel) and Adobe 9. The course will also review which software programs are most helpful in scanning documents for compliance. Learners will also leave with a clear understanding of the types of disabilities that Section 508 provisions are intended t accomodate, as well as on the assistive accessibilty tools that are typically used by those with disabilities. | |||
