| The Air Traffic Organization Succession Planning Program (ATO-SPP) develops high-potential leaders for success in their next-level role. ATO-SPP accelerates development by helping participants broaden their perspective and exposure, gain leadership experiences, strengthen strategic leadership capabilities, and build and leverage ATO-wide relationships. This program is for individuals with strong motivation and a serious interest in applying for next-level target jobs. The 18-month development program includes: Leadership Assessments Development of Strategic Leadership Capabilities Workshops (Kickoff, Mid-Program, Capstone) OPM Leadership Training Webinars Mentoring Cross-Service Unit Immersion Networking and enhanced visibility to senior leaders Details and Shadowing Talent Reviews For those promoted to next-level leadership positions during the 18-month period, learning activities are modified to allow for the immediate demands of the new job and the overall development focus shifts to ensuring success in the new role.
