| This course provides the airport's professional the knowledge necessary to manage the 14 CFR, Part 150 process. The course is designed to enable the student to communicate with airport sponsors, consultants, the public, and other FAA divisions to successfully accomplish Part 150 program requirements and provide guidance on noise compatibility projects. The course introduces and explains average sound level, Part 150 requirements, and FAA coordination. It covers Noise Exposure Map (NEM) and Noise Compatibility Program (NCP) submittal and review requirements as well as noise compatibility project eligibility. | |||
