This course covers the health effect of noise, non-ioninzing radiation (NIR), lead, hexavalent chromium, Hepatitis A&B, methlylene chloride, ionizing radiation, thermal stress signs & symptoms as well as their maintenance tasks, hazards and controls. The course also covers NFPA 704 placarding system and HMIS III labeling system and AME placarding and labeling requirements, AME Chemical Hygine Plan and medical surveillance programs & requirements, as well as common maintenance tasks, ergonomic hazards and hazard controls.
