The Air Traffic Organization New Front Line Manager Succeeding in Your First Year (SYFY) Program provides new ATO Managers with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to be an effective first-level manager. SYFY lays the groundwork for participants to transition from an individual contributor to leader and successfully take on new responsibilities. The program delivers leadership skills to navigate various challenges Managers encounter and make a successful transition into your new role. The program consists of two parts and attendance for both parts are required to get full credit for the course. Part 1 - (60000690) Succeeding in Your First Year (Part 1) Part one of the program includes a proven framework that serves as a roadmap for effective leadership in the operation. This framework is critical to Managers success and ultimately the organizations success. It focuses on the ATOs approach, practice and application in Leading Self, Leading Individuals, Leading Teams, and Leading in the Organization to support a successful culture. Part 2 - (60000691) Succeeding in Your First Year (Part 2) 2-Day Air Traffic, OR (60000692) Succeeding in Your First Year (Part 2) 2-Day Technical Operations The Succeeding in Your First Year (SYFY) program provides new ATO Frontline Managers with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to make a successful transition into your new role. Part two of the program, focuses on basic labor relations principles and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) specific training for new Technical Operation or Air Traffic managers.
