| This 3-day, 17-module course seeks to prepare FAA program personnel and selected contractors to develop the National Airspace System (NAS) Enterprise Architecture (NASEA) products, which will enable them to effectively guide their projects through the Concept and Requirements Definition (CRD) phase and the Investment Analysis phase of the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS). There are no formal prerequisites for this course. However, since the course focuses on teaching the concepts to create NASEA products, students should already understand the FAA Lifecycle Process and have a basic understanding of the AMS and how CRD activities are used. They need not be experts in acquisition or the CRD process. Before taking the course, students should read or at least be familiar with NAS Enterprise Architecture Framework Volumes I, II, and III. | |||
