| The purpose of this training is to provide supplemental training to AVS employees participating in the Hearing Conservation Program (HCP) that experience a Standard Threshold Shift (STS). This includes instructor-led education and supervised hands-on practice on the proper fitting and donning of hearing protection devices (HPDs). Subject areas covered are: AVS HCP requirements, proper fitting and donning of HPDs, effects of noise exposure on hearing, impact of noise-induced hearing loss on everyday life, and provide student the opportunity to ask questions. | |||
