Provide students with familiarization of fall hazards, non-compliance issues, how to mitigate the hazard, and how to manage the program for others. Course shall include, but not be limited to, the following topics: Fall hazard identification and mitigation, applicable fall protection regulations, common fall hazards in AVS workplaces, different fall protection equipment, components and their use, limitations and required capacities, detailed inspection of equipment components and systems (including component compatibility), and assessing fall protection systems.
