A one and a half day interactive workshop that will provide an orientation to the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standard. Class will be conducted by the Access Board, the Federal agency responsible for writing and enforcing the standard. Participants who attend this class will: Receive an overview of ABA Standards revisions; Understand the History and Background of the revision process; Review and understand the Organization/Format Changes from UFAS to ABAAS; Know the effective dates for ABAAS; Use ABAAS to identify architectural barriers; Become familiar with common accessibility errors. | |||
