| This course will review the requirements of Order 6950.27A, Power System Analyses: Load Flow Calculations, Short Circuit Analysis, Protective Device Coordination Studies, and Arc Flash Risk Assessment, and their application to FAA infrastructure projects. This course will introduce the various calculations needed for a typical project, exposing the engineers and technicians to the details of the work that is expected of the electrical design engineers. By understanding the calculations, the engineers and technicians will be better able to review the project submittals and ask pertinent questions. Students are required to bring their own computers. | |||
