| Configuration Management (CM) Industry Standard SAE EIA-649B Principles & Applications Certification is a formal, instructor-led course that explains the logic and meaning behind the various EIA-649 principles. It also offers options for implementation approaches and how best to apply the standard in various environments. Knowledge gained from the course is improves proficiency in applying the basis of CM standards to execution of the CM practices. The workflows that govern the change management processes and practices will be updated to ensure compliance with standards; existing and future tools will be modified/developed to integrate the data and analysis necessary to establish the CM of assets as defined by the standards; and the management of assets will be more accessible and traceable.
