This course includes material to familiarize specialists with ILS basic flight inspection concepts, ILS reference establishment and validation, and VOR reference establishment. The course includes ILS refresher material including definitions, zone/sectors, flight inspection runs, ILS critical areas, reference concepts, pre-flight inspection activities, LOC flight inspection, GS flight inspection, and post flight inspection activities. Also included is marker traceable reference establishment. The VOR portion of the course includes whats needed for site specific parameters, reference ground check establishment, activities requiring a confirming flight inspection, allowable reference ground check revisions, Doppler VOR monitor reference radial establishment, TACAN monitor reference radial establishment, and TACAN and DME required screen printouts.
