SEMINAR 2007-02-22
The International Aviation Safety Assessment (IASA) program is directed by AFS-50, International Programs and Policy Division. The IASA program was first established in 1992 to ensure that the Civil Aviation Authorties responsible for the safe operation of air carriers registered in and operating from their home country, were in compliance with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) requirements for air transportation, especially those authorized to conduct operations into the U.S. FAA aviation safety inspectors (ASI) can serve as auditors on IASA Assessments overseas and those invited to participate in the program, need to attend this IASA seminar presented by AFS-50.
