(21000029) Initial Part, Propeller, and Engine Certification for Manufacturing

Part 1 (WBT). This course is intended for manufacturing and maintenance designees who certify parts, propellers, and engines. Lessons are FAA Internet; FAA Representative: Privileges, Responsibilities; and Limitations; Laws and Regulations; FAA Publications; Conformity Inspection; FAA Order 8130.21; Uses of FAA Form 8130-3; Export of Class II/III Products; and Designees at Other Locations. Students must score 70% on Post-Test to receive credit for this course. Average completion time is 10-15 hours. Part 2 (Classroom Seminar). This course is intended for manufacturing and maintenance designees and consists of three hands-on projects in which students perform designee job tasks such as a conformity inspection and completing application packages for export of Class I, II, and III products. Students must complete all projects to receive credit for this course.
