""Working with People Who are Practicing Mutual Learning is a four-hour session. It is designed primarily for people who have not attended the Smart Leaders, Smarter Teams workshop and are working with others, including their supervisor, who are practicing mutual learning. Supervisors of participants who have not attended the Smart Leaders, Smart Teams workshop are encouraged to attend with employees who report to them. The session has four main objectives: 1) provide a brief introduction to the mutual learning approach and unilateral control approach; 2) help participants begin to recognize when people they are working with may or may not be using mutual learning; 3) describe how participants can support people who are practicing mutual learning; and 4) address participants questions and concerns. The session design uses brief lecture, discussion, demonstration and role-play, and questions and answers. This four-hour session is designed to increase participants awareness of and knowledge about mutual learning. Participants should not expect to develop mutual learning skills in this session.
