| This course is a part of the OSH program. The FS Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP) Program -Trainer refresher course includes lecture and hands-on training that re-familiarizes the BBP trainers with the following topics: - FS/AIR;s BBP Order, roles and responsibilities of managers and employees, - Program requirements - Epidemiology of pathogens, - Job categories covered by the program, - Universal precautions, - Engineering and work practice controls, and PPE, - Hepatitis B vaccinations, training, record-keeping, and program evaluation). - FS BBP Exposure Control Plan (ECP) and includes job aids for aircraft accident and air ambulance inspectors - Unsatisfactory Condition Report Program. The BBP trainers will be re-familiarized with the course content and be able to continue to teach the curriculum to others in their office This one hour session (via MS Teams or Zoom Meeting) will provide the training resources and information needed to teach others the User level of BBP. Target audience: AVS Aviation Safety Inspectors or employees who respond to aircraft accident investigations or inspect air ambulance operators and who are the trainers for their office or area. | |||
