| Principles of Evaluation for GA OPS ASIs is a foundational course for new hire airplane and helicopter ASIs. This course provides a thorough background in FAA standards and regulations and initial experience in applying the approved processes of airplane or helicopter ASI evaluation responsibilities that, combined with separate practical training in an applicable Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) and with duty-specific OJT at the ASIs home stations, will help qualify the ASI to perform their inspection and evaluation job functions. | |||
