This course provides knowledge and training in practical application of regulations, guidance, and policy in assessing aircraft airworthiness and issuing initial and recurrent aircraft airworthiness certificates. It includes topics such as: Common Policies for Issuing Airworthiness Certificates, Standard Airworthiness Certificates, Special Airworthiness Certificates, Special Airworthiness Certificates for Light Sport, Special Airworthiness Certificates for Amateur-Built Aircraft, Export Airworthiness Approval, Special Flight Permits, Special Flight Authorizations, Replacement and Exchange Airworthiness Certificates, and Amended Airworthiness Certificates. The course is intended for AIR and FS ASIs.
