This course consists of lecture, demonstration, computer lab exercises and access to the virtual Automation Tools Resource Center. Subject areas include an overview of Flight Standards Automation Tools with emphasis on QMITS, eFAS, PTRS, eVID, and Flight Standards Automation Systems available through FAAMIS: SPAS, NPTRS, NVIS. Also covered are FAA Data Sources available through SPAS: MSAT-A, MSAT-B, AIDS, ElSqb; as well as FSIMS, eForms, CSOP, FSAS/TAP and Logbook. Additionally, the course addresses how each automation tool interface/relate with SAS.
