| The New Manager Course (NMC) is the first part of the three-piece FAA Foundational Leadership Curriculum. It is designed for all new FAA managers to develop practical essential management skills for application on the job. The focus is on maintaining operational effectiveness, achieving organizational results, and transitioning effectively to the challenges of leadership and management within the FAA. The goal of this course is for FAA managers to develop leadership and management skills as they apply sound leadership and business principles to achieve organizational goals and operational results and create an environment in which people thrive and accomplish their best. Learning activities include simulations, structured rehearsal of business skills, case studies, application exercises, self assessments, and computer-based lessons (pre-assigned). | |||
