| This course covers the roles and responsibilities of AIR personnel who are involved in the designee program under Order 8100.8 Designee Management Handbook & Order 8110.15 Organization Designation Authorization Procedures. The course covers the policy & procedures used for oversight of of private persons acting as representatives of the Administrator and those acting as representatives of the Administrator for the purpose of aircraft certification. This course also covers the oversight of delegated organizations. This course is mandatory for all AIR personnel who are involved in designee management.
