This is Part 2 of two courses that are required for manufacturing and maintenance designees who certify engines, propellers, and articles. Initial Aircraft Engines, Propellers, and Articles Certification for Manufacturing Part II (title), is a 2 day classroom seminar. This course is intended for manufacturing and maintenance designees and consists of three hands-on projects in which students perform designee job tasks such as a conformity inspection and completing application packages for export of Class I, II, and III products. Students must complete all projects to receive credit for this course. TARGET AUDIENCE(S):FAA advisors and designees must register separately for Initial Aircraft Engines, Propellers, and Articles Certification for Manufacturing Part II (title), the 2 day classroom seminar. To enroll in the Seminar, FAA advisors should contact their AIR Training Manager. Designees should register through the Designee Registration System, https://av-info.faa.gov/DsgReg/ Select the appropriate Seminar and desired Location/Date for more detailed information. PREQUISITE: Initial Aircraft Engines, Propellers, and Articles Certification for Manufacturing Part I (27200076) is web-based and must be completed prior to attending the Part II seminar.
