| The intent of this course is to focus on how systems engineers and others involved in the certification of products should apply concepts of system safety principles to the certification process. It will expand the approach systems engineers and AIR personnel can take to build safety into the products they certify in the context of applying the rules and considering other safety-related factors that supplement FAA regulations.Method of instruction include lecture, student participation, practical exercises, collaborative discussions, and tests. Target Audience(s): Systems Engineers, Flight Test Pilots, Propulsion Engineers, and Human Factors Engineers, in Headquarters, and ACOBs and other AIR personnel that may benefit from this training.
