| This courses provides training for technical evaluators in the International Technical Surveillance Program for Air Navigation Service Provider (ITSP for ANSPs). The purpose of ITSP for ANSPs is to train evaluators on how to conduct evaluations of ANSPs navigation facilities and to train technicians (Air traffic safety electronics personnel (ATSEPs)) how to maintain air navigation facilities. The evaluators provide quality assurance and information for decision making about safety issues based on independent review of how facilities and services meet their objectives, how maintenance programs are executed, and how well the customer needs are being met. Expected outcomes are that countries in the region will follow the same standard procedures for safe air traffic navigation and ATSEPs and ANSPs will follow standard established procedures regarding facility performance, maintenance program implementation and safety. Countries in the region will establish a well-executed maintenance program and meet their intended objectives of safe and efficient air traffic navigation. | |||
