This familiarization course will present the way Gulfstream builds, certifies, and maintains aircraft in compliance with various FAA Orders. It will provide a history of Gulfstream aircraft, and overview of Gulfstreams business, and walk each attendee through the product life cycle, from initial design, certification, production, and life-cycle maintenance including continued operational focus. The Gulfstream ODA will provide a detailed overview of how the designated authority complies with the governing regulatory requirements and works with the ODA holder to perform the FAA designated duties. The course will incorporate activities throughout the company to maximize the opportunity for attendees to have hands-on learning opportunities. The exposure to all aspects of Gulfstream will provide the attendees an opportunity to experience Gulfstreams test labs, flight test environment and engineering areas while providing working knowledge tailored towards how aerospace OEMs and ODA Holder/Units develop, certify, and maintain aircraft to regulatory requirements.
