INACTIVE The purpose of this course is two-fold: 1. Order revisions for 8100.8,8100.15, and 8110.37 have made substantial changes in designee policy. The Designee Management course for AIR and AFS is being updated to include changes in these orders. However, for those ASEs and ASis who have already completed the Designee Management course, there is no formal mechanism to provide updated information on these recent policy changes in a concise, organized fashion. It is fortuitous that revisions to all three of these designee orders are being released almost simultaneously. This is an ideal opportunity to provide on-line training on the combined changes to this policy. This course would serve as an update to the information previously presented in the Designee Management course. 2. It is also evident, from discussions at DER recurrent seminars and other meetings, that some of the concepts presented in the Designee Management course could bear reinforcing, or refreshing, for the ASEs and AS Is who have previously attended. An on-line recurrent training course for Designee Management would fill this need. This course has been replaced by four courses: 27000030 Introduction to AVS Delegation Programs, 270000291ntroduction to Designee Management for AVS Personnel, 22000072 Managing AIR Engineering Designees, & 22000073 Managing AIR Manufacturing Designees. AFS will develop type specific courses for their needs.
