This course teaches the skills necessary to select, oversee, and terminate the appointments of various designees, but does not cover the technical aspects of each designation. AUDIENCE: All AIR ASEs & AFS personnel who oversee designees. NOTES: This course replaces FAA21050 effective 10/1/2006. POC: FAA Academy, Aircraft Certification Branch AMA-220 at (405)954-4534 PREREQUISITES: AIR EMPLOYEES: 21660, 21604, 21600 OR, 21936 AND 27936; AND 21016, 21017. AFS EMPLOYEES: Complete Indoctrination string courses. Effective 10/1/2006, this course replaces FAA21050. FAA01184 is not an equivalent. This training is required for AIR & AFS personnel who manage designees and/or ODA organizations if they have NOT taken both 21050, Delegation Management, AND 24502, ODA Implementation briefing.
