This training will deliver a detailed presentation of all aspects of wiring practices. It covers applicable 14CFRs, policy, and industry practices in the area of wiring. Primary factors associated with wire degradation will be introduced. Information on TC/STC data package requirements, wire selection and protection, routing, splicing, and termination practices are included. This training also covers wiring maintenance concepts, including how to perform a wiring general visual inspection. The instructors will use actual aircraft wiring video clips, numberous examples, and photos. Audience: Systems Engineers specializing in avionics/electrical systems, Aviation Safety Inspectors.
