| ** CANELLATION: If AFS-300 keeps this course, I believe we run the risk of sending out mixed or wrong information since we are not the branch that manages Safety Programs. Branches/Divisions that would normally sponsor/own this policy and information have refused to take sponsorship of this course. Rather than continue to field a course that is inconsistent and may have incorrect content, we have decided to cancel/inactivate the course until further notice.** This course is intended for new hire Air Carrier Airworthiness (Maintenance and Avionics) and Air Carrier Operations ASIs to take as part of their mandatory indoctrination training. It will enable a new ASI to understand key functions and information to be able to perform their job duties. This training will cover foundational knowledge and skills related to maintenance safety program and the relationship to the Safety Assurance System. (SAS) | |||
