(27100211) Introduction to Integrated Avionics Systems
COURSE 2013-08-20
This course provides experienced general aviation (GA) inspectors with a foundational understanding of integrated avionics systems. The course provides a review of different types of integrated avionics systems in use today to introduce learners to their evolution and the varying levels of integration they employ. The course also explains some of the design requirements that these systems must address to reinforce the importance of maintaining the systems design integrity and use of a careful configuration control process throughout the systems life cycle. Finally, the course ties the information to the inspectors role by reviewing sample tasks that require knowledge of integrated avionics systems. Although the course is primarily targeted to GA inspectors specializing in avionics, it may also benefit GA operations and maintenance inspectors.
