| **Based on an assessment of course 27100259 Safety and Compliance, the Learning Solutions Branch recommends the inactivation of this course and removal from the new hire string curriculum. ** The purpose of this training is to provide AFS personnel responsible for safety oversight activities with the statutory, regulatory, programmatic and procedural knowledge and skills to perform these duties in accordance with the agencys safety mission. This course includes instruction on the FAA Compliance Philosophy Order 8000.373, revised FAA Compliance and Enforcement Order 2150.3, and related AFS compliance philosophy and policy in Notice 8900.343 and Order 8900.1. Students will have the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills related to the safety oversight of certificate holders and other entities governed by applicable statutes and regulations by participating in the follow-on course, 21000136 Safety and Compliance Practical Application Workshop. | |||
