| This Web-based course provides ACSA ASIs and their Office and Division Managers, AED inspectors and their managers, and OSS personnel in the Air Transportation and Aircraft Maintenance Divisions with the knowledge they need to apply interdependent Risk-Based Decision Making (RBDM) to eliminate single-person decisions: When processing any CHs potential noncompliance with regulations that are complex or difficult to determine. When a CH with an SMS requests a temporary nonstandard authorization to their OpSpecs, as a result of operations ceasing due to a technical or low safety-risk nonconformance with a recognized means of compliance with a performance-based regulation causing significant disruption to the traveling public.
