The purpose of this course is to provide new AIR employees with an overview of the general knowledge they will require to perform their jobs effectively. Subjects include AIR's Mission; Vision and Values; Roles and Responsibilities; Regulations and Policy; Type, Production and Airworthiness Certification; Continued Operational Safety Management; International Considerations; and Designees and Delegations. Methods of instruction include lecture, practical exercises, collaborative discussions, and exams. Internal Audience: This course is intended for Aircraft Certification Employees. External Audience: This course is available to non-FAA personnel. Prerequisite(s): None.
