The purpose of this course is to provide participants with the ability to assess the flammability exposure of a fuel tank using the Monte Carlo statistical method to determine the flammability of the fuel tank design under a variety of circumstances. Students will also apply the modifications to the method that are necessary when a Flammability Reduction Means (FRM) are installed. Internal Audience: This course is intended for AIR DER Managing Specialist and Engineering OMT members managing designees authorized in Propulsion.
