COURSE 2003-10-24
This course is designed for maintenance safety inspectors. The course helps inspectors develop skills and knowledge important in evaluating, auditing, and conducting surveillance of corrosion prevention and control programs (CPCP). Course content includes a discussion of CPCP background and origin, scientific aspects of corrosion; CPCP structure and methods of implementation; and inspector audit and surveillance activities related to CPCP. The training methods used in this course include informal lecture, question and answer, small group exercises, and case study. The order of priority for this training is flight standards maintenance inspectors with Parts 121/135/91 responsibilities.
