| This course provides indoctrination training for newly assigned General Aviation Safety Inspectors (operations) in flight job functions required by their job specialty. The course consists of aircraft specific ground training, lectures/labs, evaluations lecture/video labs, and practice and evaluation flights in aircraft and flight training devices. Students must have a prior flight check under the auspices of AFS National Flight Program manager to commercial instrument standards and hold the following certificates: Commercial/instrument pilot or ATP with ASEL&M land ratings, CFI SE & ME & instrument airplane ratings.
