| This course is designed for FAA airspace system inspection pilots and airborne technicians. It is the academic portion of the flight inspection qualification curriculum that trains AVN aircrews to inspect navigational aids and instrument flight procedures as outlined in Order 8200.1, the U.S. Standard Flight Inspection Manual. It also covers the use and operation of the Gull Automated Flight Inspection System (AFIS). This course consists of classroom presentations, laboratory exercise, and flight inspection equipment simulator sessions. | |||
