This Level I course offers a pilot's perspective and the factors affecting aeronautical decision-making. Workshops address the broad spectrum of aeronautical knowledge required of a pilot including aerodynamics, how the systems of the airplane work, what weather to avoid, FAA regulations, principles of navigation, aeromedical factors, stall/spin awareness, and incident/accident reporting requirements. The instructor-led workshop includes 32 hours of class instruction.
