The Office of the Chief Counsel is providing training on the Whistleblower Protection Act (WPA). The broadcast will provide an overview of the WPA and the process for investigating disclosures and allegations of retaliation. The training will provide information on a managers role when a disclosure or a complaint of retaliation is under investigation. Because this is an interactive training, managers will have the opportunity to ask questions, which will be addressed by the presenter. Part I: Overview of the Whistleblower Protection Act (WPA); Part II: The Process when Disclosures are made under the WPA, and Managements Role in that Process (including managing your workforce after a disclosure has been made); Part III: The Process when Complaints of Retaliation are made under the WPA, and Managements Role in that Process. This item provide 2 hours of credit towards FAA's continuing mnagement education (CME) requirement for managers.
