COURSE 2005-10-24
This course provides refresher training to Technical Operations Technicians, Engineers and Specialists who hold current certification authority on CPDS (ACEPS) FICs 83DC, IQA2, and IQA3 (Class Code M). This course is 12 hours Academy Lecture and 84 hours Academy Laboratory Exercises and troubleshooting with minimal subject matter introduction and theory of operation. This refresher training course is meant for any ACEPS Legacy or ACEPS II Phase 1 facility that still has White Superior or Katolight Engine Generators. Laboratory subjects include system configuration, engine generator control panels, Woodward and Basler electric engine generator controls, GE circuit breakers and switchgear. Laboratory exercises include equipment setup, operation and troubleshooting of equipment. For information about exams for this course, see the Special Instructions section in FIST.
