This course provides training for Specialists on Dual Mode ALSF-2 (FA-10700). This course is 92 hours Academy Lecture, 100 hours Academy Lab with 16 hours required to complete DoP 88631 (ED27). The DoP is taken after successful completion of this course and is included in the course hours. System Key Performance and Certification Parameters that are not tested in the DoP will be individually tested in graded labs during the course. Instruction will include the use of applicable Maintenance Handbooks, Maintenance Requirements, Standards and Tolerances, Intervals, etc.; Use of TPR'S; and certification including Intervals, exceptions and Log Statement (s). Lecture subjects include: 30 & 50KW Constant Current Regulators, Control & Monitor Assembly, Remote Control Panel, Remote Electronic Chassis, Lamp Transceiver, Individual Control Cabinet, Remote monitoring subsystem & flasher tester.
