| Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as Amended requires that all electronic information produced by a Federal agency be accessible to all. As of January 18, 2018 the requirements of Section 508 have been revised requiring Federal Agencies to adhere to an expanded set of standards. The goal of this session is to provide an overview of the DOT Section 508 program, available resources available within DOT and other Federal resources, as well as practical tips to assist in getting started with producing accessible documents. | |||
