| This course provides training for Technical Operations Personnel on Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) Wide Area Reference Station (WRS) Maintenance. The course will be 88 hours in length, 40 hours of Virtual Instructor-Led Lectures and 48 hours of Academy Resident Labs. Lecture subjects include Introduction to WAAS, System Power Conditioner, Data Collection and Processing (DCP), Terrestrial Communications Subsystem (TCS), WAAS Receivers, Frequency Standard and Fault Isolation Overview. Laboratory subjects include configuration procedures for WRS Data Collection Processor, Access Routers and Power Conditioners, local dialogs and displays, troubleshooting, and periodic maintenance.
