| This course provides training for Airway Facilities Technicians, Engineers, and Technical Center personnel on the Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) Model 415SE. The virtual lecture is 24 hours and subjects include system theory of operation and maintenance, the use of applicable maintenance handbooks, maintenance requirements, standards and tolerances, intervals, etc. The Academy laboratory is 32 hours and subjects include system alignment, maintenance checks, and fault isolation.
